Next Step Network peer support groups and activities are available to all residents over the age of 18 within Nottinghamshire who have or have previously had a mental health problem.
We are a Nottingham-based mental health support charity, offering:
Social Activities
Recreational Activities
Vocational & Educational Opportunities
Peer Support Strategies
Membership is free, voluntary and without time limit.
As a peer-led organisation, Next Step Network is run by people who have lived experience of mental health setbacks and have learnt how to overcome their personal challenges in order to progress in their own recovery. We are therefore well placed to know about mental health difficulties, what support is needed and what works in recovering from what can be a terrifying and destructive ordeal in someone’s life. Our peer-led support groups and social activities, provide a reliable structure on which to build upon to progress in life whether alongside or beyond treatment from clinical mental health services.
